About

Hi, my name is Robb Clarke, I am 27 and I am a web designer and developer based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. I grew up drawing and creating every chance that I got. While studying my History Major I began exploring design and web development. Gradually I moved from a Bachelor of Arts degree to focusing primarily on web design and began learning as much as I could. I began learning the basics of design and HTML and CSS and decided to turn it into a career and began studying at a local college.

What I Used To Do

After graduating from my course, I had a wide portfolio of design skills which could take me into many different sectors of business but I chose to follow the web design path. My first job was an entry level web design position in Fredericton which gradually turned into a more senior role as the Lead Graphic Designer and one of the Developers. I left there in early 2010 to broaden my skill set and began working with a local marketing company as one of their Graphic Designers and as their Web Developer. From the summer of 2008 to the spring of 2010 I was taught Web Development at the Centre For Arts and Technology in Fredericton.

What I'm Doing Now

Over the summer of 2010 I was offered my dream job with OrangeSprocket in Fredericton as one of their Front End Developers. I began with OrangeSprocket on my birthday - pretty much the best birthday present ever.

Some Personal Stuff

I'm currently living in Fredericton, New Brunswick with my beautiful wife Melinda, our newborn daughter Emma and our tiny 100lb puppy, Cooper. We were married in the fall of 2009 and just had our first child this past July (2011). We're big Saint John Sea Dogs fans - jerseys and all - and try to make it to as many games as possible.
