Kelly Lamrock’s Election Website

Last week I was approached about constructing the new website for Kelly Lamrock, the Liberal Candidate for Fredericton-Fort Nashwaak in the New Brunswick Pronvincial Election. Never one to turn down work, I agreed to work with them to get their new website up and running. Given the amount of people that turn to the web and social media as a resource, a website is definitely needed for the candidates in the election so I was more than willing to help out one of the MLAs in my riding.

The site itself has numerous features:

  • WordPress integration: letting them update the website at their leisure
  • Twitter feed: showing Kelly’s latest Tweet from his Twitter account
  • Lightbox 2 photo gallery
  • Working contact form: letting users contact Kelly and his team via the website
  • Search engine optimization

I’m happy with how the website turned out, especially given the time constraints surrounding the launch.

You can see the website at http://www.kellylamrock.ca website was taken down after the election.
