FAQs
Where did you go to school?
I graduated with Honours from the Graphics and Digital Media Design at the Centre for Arts and Technology in Fredericton, NB. I also did my History Major and Anthropology Minor at St. Thomas University, although I still need to go back and do my final year. I’ve got the Major and Minor done, it’s just a matter of finding the time to do it.
What programs do you use?
For about 95% of the work that I do I use Adobe Photoshop CS3. When the project calls for it I’ll use Adobe Illustrator CS3 but it’s rare. I tend to stick with Photoshop unless I need to have something created or re-created as a vector.
What operating system do you use?
At work I used Mac OSX Leopard. At home I’m using Mac OSX Leopard and Windows XP Media Center 2005.
Where are you working now?
I’m working as a graphic designer for Red Cow Marketing & Technologies in Fredericton, NB. Check out the new site, it’s pretty kick ass.
What do you do there?
I do a lot of web and print design. Anything from websites to business cards, menus, fliers, brochures, posters, logo design, vehicle wraps and much more. Designing at Red Cow has definitely gotten my creative juices going. In the run of a day you can work on a menu design, a web design, business cards, wine bottle labels, a poster, a postcard, and print a few things off… and that’s just before noon.
